(11 Week Virtual Learning Series) Adult Case Management Orientation Series

The series will include 11 sessions that are designed to give new behavioral health case managers an overview of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health as well as provide a fundamental knowledge about governmental regulations and standards.   The series is also designed to ensure DBH-CM’s receive an equitable amount of therapeutic skills, resources, and knowledge.  In turn DBH-CM’s will more confidently coordinate the services needed and wanted by those being assisted in the recovery process.

You will receive instructions on how to create a DBHIDS Learning Hub account.

Learning Objectives: 
  1. Coordinate an array of Person-First services & supports that meet individual recovery goals.
  2. Develop a repertoire of resources and referral information to assist people receiving services.
  3. Assess the need for service and justify the level of care that best helps people in their recovery process.

Completion Requirements: 

Participants must attend entire session, participate in all activities, and complete E-Learning and pre-recorded assignments.  Once all course requirements have been satisfied a Certificate of Attendance will be generated through the Learning Hub. Case Managers can save or print their certificate for their records.
