This eight-week series will provide state-required and Philadelphia-specific information for new children’s behavioral health case managers on a variety of topics related to behavioral health treatment and other child-serving systems in Philadelphia. The series is designed to ensure case managers receive an equitable amount of therapeutic skills, resources, and knowledge. After completing the orientation series, case managers will more effectively coordinate useful and necessary services for children and families.
At the conclusion of this series Children’s Behavioral Health Case Mangers will be able to:
- Coordinate an array of Person-First services & supports that meet individual service goals.
- Develop a catalog of resources and referral information to assist people receiving services.
- Assess the need for service and justify the level of care that best meets the needs of individual children and families.

Participants must complete all eLearning courses, view all recorded webinars, attend all live webinars, and submit an evaluation within 7 days of training to complete the orientation series. Attendance will be monitored closely. Certificates of Attendance will be immediately available for download from the Learning Hub once the evaluation is submitted at the end of the series.
