Children’s Case Management Orientation Series

This introductory level course for new Children's Case Managers provides descriptions of the child serving systems in Philadelphia. Information useful to case managers in their service with children and their families will be offered in each session.

  • Examine the mission and work of the child serving systems in Philadelphia;
  • Discuss strategies for collaboration between case management services and the other service systems;
  • Identify resources case managers can employ to enhance the help offered children and their families.

Intended Audience:

Case Managers providing children's services.

Completion Requirements:

The series is required for all new Blended Case Managers, Family-Based Staff, and D&A Case Managers. These must attend the entire series before a certificate is issued. BHRS Case Managers are invited but not required to attend. These will receive certificates for the sessions attended.
