This course will break down the definition of human trafficking and review applicable state and federal laws aimed at criminalizing human traffickers and supporting survivors. Then, participants will discuss what vulnerabilities make someone more susceptible to being a victim of human trafficking and the target of a trafficker. Finally, participants will learn to screen for human trafficking victimization and make appropriate referrals to support the survivors.

Participants must attend entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate.
