Bullying behavior from girls takes on a different form than that from boys.  Building on the information presented in the “Generation Diva” workshop, this workshop will explore that difference, focusing on female bullying behavior and relational aggression. This training is made possible through the assistance of the Pennsylvania Masonic Youth Foundation, Elizabethtown, PA.

Learning Objectives: 
  • Discussed the latest research on female bullying;
  • Examined the use of social media among adolescent females;
  • Reviewed legal concerns surrounding bullying of all types; and,
  • Outlined prevention & intervention strategies to address these issues

 

Intended Audience: 

This introductory level course, is designed for all professionals (behavioral health specialists, teachers, social workers, etc.) who work with young people.  Parents are also welcomed.  There are no prerequisites for this program.

Participants must attend entire presentation and complete a course evaluation in order to receive credits.
