This course helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

Learning Objectives: 
  1. List the emergency response number for the area.
  2. Tell how to make an emergency call.
  3. Know you may be asked questions and given instructions.
Intended Audience: 

Participants must attend entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates will be emailed to participants within 30 business days of training. Certificates of Attendance will be available to download from the Learning Hub once the evaluation is successfully submitted.
