This training provides an overview of information and practice strategies as well as specific tools for behavioral health and other human services staff working to support persons needing to recover from trauma, with a focus on how to interact with persons receiving services using trauma-informed approaches.
- Describe “universal precautions” that are trauma-sensitive;
- Discuss safety as a factor in recovering from trauma;
- Identify what individual staff can specifically do to be more trauma-informed.

Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.
