Abby Dow

CSEC Assessment Specialist

Abby Dow (she/her) is a licensed Clinical Social Worker. As the CSEC Assessment Specialist at the children’s advocacy center, Philadelphia Children’s Alliance, Abby works with youth identified or vulnerable to commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking. Abby has been in the social work field for over 7 years specifically working with families and children/adolescents impacted by trauma and other complex systems. A therapist at heart, Abby is certified in TF-CBT and has utilized TF-CBT with numerous clients when she was a trauma therapist. She has also worked with other populations including young adults, young children, and families with Autism and Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, providing direct service in the community. A local native of Philadelphia, Abby has always had a passion of helping others and honoring the strengths and resiliency of various communities. She received her Master of Social Service degree from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research with a clinical concentration and trauma certificate.
