Brittney Bryant

Associate Director of the Forensic Equity Unit

Dr. Brittney Bryant is the Associate Director for the Forensic Equity Unit of the Behavioral Health and Justice Division (Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities). Her professional background includes program and policy development, leadership, maintaining stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. Previously, as a Management Analyst III for the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health in Delaware, she oversaw multiple housing programs supported by state contracted community providers, statewide agencies, administrators, private providers, and other stakeholders. Her experience in the past seven years is social work included resource provision, multi-method research, treatment planning, need assessments, program implementation and development, program referrals, and engagement with stakeholders for treatment and planning. Dr. Bryant has experience with direct and administrative service delivery to varied populations, including adult, juvenile, SMI, unhoused and substance use disorder beneficiaries. In her Masters and Doctoral programs, she explored developing and modifying evidence-based programming for the betterment of served populations. I’ve conducted quantitative and qualitative research and analyses in my dissertation program.
