Edie is a Therapist, Author, and Educator. Born & raised in Philadelphia, Edie pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at East Stroudsburg University and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Eastern University. In 2020, Edie authored her first book ‘My Peace is Most Important’ a 31-Day devotional dedicated to helping individuals find and maintain their inner peace. Edie is the owner of Help, Heal, Serve, LLC which is a Therapy & Consulting Practice. Additionally, Edie is an Adjunct Professor for the Counseling department at Eastern University and serves as a Counselor for Black Men Heal (a non-profit dedicated to minimizing the barriers for men of color to receive mental health services). Edie specializes in working with individuals who have difficulty acquiring and maintaining healthy relationships. She has experience helping clients with Complex Trauma, Attachment Issues, Substance Use, Emotional Abuse, Mood disorders, Life Transitions, and Grief & Loss. Edie believes in the importance of pursuing self-awareness and self- acceptance to attain and maintain mental wellness. She uses a trauma informed integrated approach to help clients understand and accept all versions of themselves and participate in their worlds with intention.
