Postdoctoral Fellow
John Armstrong, PhD is a postdoctoral fellow at the Penn Center for Mental Health. He received his BAs in Psychology and Criminology from The Pennsylvania State University. He completed both his MEd and PhD in School Psychology at Temple University, where he focused on assessment and intervention for school-age children and adolescents. Dr. Armstrong completed an APPIC-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Penn Center for Mental Health and is training towards becoming a licensed psychologist in PA. Dr. Armstrong’s clinical and research interests include school-based mental health, assessment and intervention for individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders, gifted identification/education, behavioral consultation strategies, and socially equitable policy reform.
