Lauren Carone

Instructor

Lauren Carone, M.A. is an Instructor with the Beck Community Initiative in the Penn Collaborative at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine.  Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and earned her Master’s in Community Counseling from The College of New Jersey.  Prior to working with the Beck Community Initiative, Lauren provided direct care and clinical supervision within community mental health settings.  She is eager to continue her work in training community-based clinicians in evidenced based practices, bolstering access to effective treatment amongst underserved populations, and in assisting agencies in implementation of evidence-based practices, with sustainability in mind.  Much of Lauren’s experience and work focused primarily on substance use treatment, co-occurring populations, resiliency, grief issues, and trauma.
