Samanth Rushworth

Postdoctoral Fellow

Samantha Rushworth, PhD is an incoming postdoctoral fellow at Penn Center for Mental Health. She received her BA in Child and Family Studies from Albright College. Dr. Rushworth completed her MS in School Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and PhD in School Psychology from Temple University. She completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Sarah Reed Children’s Center, focusing on outpatient behavioral therapy and school-based consultation with underserved communities. Dr. Rushworth is working toward licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. Her clinical and research interests include improving mental health services for children and families from marginalized backgrounds, use of evidence-based practices in schools, trauma-informed practices, supervision, and consultation.
