Job Posting: Clerical Assistant - Full Time
The Clerical Assistant is responsible for a variety of activities that support the entire BHTEN team. The Clerical Assistant must have a solid working knowledge of common software applications. In addition, the Clerical Assistant must possess strong organizational skills and be able to participate in simultaneous projects. The Clerical Assistant must be able to interface with a variety of professional and non-professional individuals and, accordingly, possess excellent verbal and written skills. Experience working within a human service field is preferred, particularly working with persons with behavioral health needs.
This position includes remote workdays for telecommuting. As such, applicants must have a mobile phone with text and data options, high speed internet, a secure and password protected WiFi, and a home designated workspace.
o Registration data entry for educational activities using commercial software.
o Generate registration confirmation letters.
o Provide registered participants with webinar links and training materials for synchronous virtual trainings.
o Generate certificates and continuing education units for all participants using commercial software.
o Participate in quality improvement processes, as it relates to issuing CEUs.
o Front desk registration for in-person training offerings (when applicable)
o Update the Google calendar on a weekly basis.
o Attend meetings as scheduled.
o Any additional duties that may be assigned by the BHTEN Management Team.
o Ability to work as part of a team.

The BHTEN Clerical Assistant position is supervised by the Data Operations Manager of the Behavioral Health Training and Education Network.
o Must have at least a high school diploma and prior experience working in an office setting.
o Must be able to work remotely (telecommute)
o Must have high speed internet (Comcast or Verizon recommended; no Dial Up Services or Hotspots), a secure and password protected WiFi and a home designated workspace.
o Must have a mobile phone with text and data options.
o Must have a dedicated private workspace without noises and distractions when/if telecommuting
o Prior experience working within the behavioral health field is preferred.
o Knowledge and experience with word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing software, learning management systems, and conference/event registration software is preferred.
o Knowledge of Zoom
o Must be able to work 37.5 hours per week.
o Travel within the Greater Philadelphia Area.
Sitting or standing for a minimum of two (2) hours. Bending, pushing, moving and lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, reaching to retrieve and maintain files, hearing and speaking to exchange information.
