Kay (she/her) is one of BHTEN’s Addiction Recovery Training Specialists. With a history of working in the public sector, non-profits, and community organizing efforts, Kay is experienced in crisis management, substance abuse response, training implementation, and working with LGBTQIA+ populations. She previously worked with youth and families experiencing chronic or anticipatory homelessness, and adults in substance abuse recovery. Kay is also a harm reduction organizer in Philadelphia and applies a harm reduction framework to her direct practice and systems level work. She received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
