About This Course

Youth spend a significant amount of time in the digital world and at increasingly younger ages.  While there is a great deal of positive value in this digital world, including creative outlets and access to information, there is also cause for concern.  There has been a sharp decline in interpersonal interactions with peers and increasing mental health issues among young people.  This workshop will address these concerns and offer possible solutions

Learning Objectives: 

At the end of this session, participants will have:

  1. Examined the mental health aspects of digital speech;
  2. Explored the physical health aspects of the digital world;
  3. Discussed the issues of decency and tolerance; and
  4. Outlined strategies for promoting the physical and mental health of young people

Participants must attend entire session and submit an evaluation to receive credits
