About This Course

It is usually easier to offer compassion to our clients, friends, or colleagues. When it comes to providing that same type of compassion to ourselves, we often find self-judgment and self-recrimination instead. Exploring the work of Dr. Kristin Neff, we will learn and practice several self-compassion exercise and techniques

As with all psychological interventions, please consult a trained mental health professional prior to beginning if you are concerned about any potential adverse reactions

Learning Objectives: 
  1. Describe self-compassion and how it supports greater well-being
  2. Use several self-compassion practices to expand our capacity for self-acceptance, forgiveness, and compassion.

Completion Requirements: 

Participants must attend entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates will be emailed to participants within 30 business days of training. Certificates of Attendance will be available to download from the Learning Hub once the evaluation is successfully submitted.

Credit Statements: 

BHTEN is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU. 
As an IACET Accredited Provider, BHTEN offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard.  BHTEN is authorized by IACET to offer CEUs for this program.
