About This Course

QPR is a short suicide prevention training that provides a framework for supporting an individual who may be thinking about suicide and how to connect them to help. The training is intended to provide individuals with an initial understanding of how to intervene and what resources are available in the community.

Learning Objectives: 

a. Identify why someone may be suicidal
b. Learn how to notice clues and warning signs of someone who may be struggling
c. Develop skills to intervene with a suicidal individual and connect to help

Attend full session, complete evaluation and assessment; active participation in class

Credit Statements: 

BHTEN is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
As an IACET Accredited Provider, BHTEN offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard.  BHTEN is authorized by IACET to offer CEUs for this program.
