
Tara Bruno, MA, CAADC
Behavioral Health Training Specialist
Tara received her BA in Applied Sociology from Cedar Crest College Honors Program and her MA in Applied Sociology as a Community Fellow Scholar at Lehigh University. Tara spent several years as an Adjunct Instructor in Sociology and Anthropology as well as served as an Advisor for the Student Services Multi Cultural Club and Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honors Society. Additionally, Tara has earned her Certification in Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counseling (CAADC) and is Certified in REBT (CBT), DBT & Trauma Informed Care. Tara spent several years in direct service as a Clinician for Inpatient, Outpatient, Mobile Therapy (Children & Adolescents), Mental Health and Medication Assisted Treatment facilities. Tara has developed a specialty in Co-Occurring disorders and Psychopharmacology during her tenure as a Specialist with the LV ACT Team. She also has a special passion for the Re-Entry Community and has served as a Volunteer for many community agencies in the Lehigh Valley area as well as the Pennsylvania Re-Entry Coalition (PARC). Tara has Co-Published scholarly work in the areas of Community Engagement and Social Connection and is currently working on a book focused on the Impact of Gender and Social Structure.
