Stephan's behavioral health involvement includes direct care positions of psychosocial rehabilitation counselor/supervisor, vocational counselor, outpatient therapist for children/ adults and forensic case manager. He brings to BHTEN his experience of targeted case management where he had served as the children's/adult supervisor and director in a Philadelphia based mental health/intellectual disabilities agency. His present focus is on the training of targeted case managers to increase their quality of service provision to people involved in their recovery process. In addition, Stephan is a certified instructor of Mental Health First Aid, a certified instructor through the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs and a master level certified instructor through the Crisis Prevention Institute. He has presented Safety Training /Crisis Management, Workplace Professionalism, Staff Supervision and Person-First/Health Disparities at local, state and national venues.
