About This Course
All trainings meet requirements listed on the DDAP TMS.
This course will outline the connection between SUD and HIV disease. It will provide information about the fundamental principles unique to this dually impacted population. HIV transmission, development, symptoms, and treatment options will be addressed. Risk assessment, risk reduction, and health promotion counseling strategies will be discussed. This course format will include lecture, discussion, and experiential exercises.

Completion Requirements:
All participants must attend the entire training and complete an evaluation on the DDAP TMS before they can print their certificate.
