MSW, LSW
Sarah has been serving those with substance use-related issues through prevention, treatment, and education for three decades. Beginning her work as a counselor with young people in 1991 and later as an intensive case manager, she witnessed the devastation addiction brings to those it affects, their families, and local communities. While she did not intend to enter the field of public speaking, her desire to equip other professionals to serve this population took her in this direction. An approved trainer for the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs since 1997, she currently presents workshops throughout Pennsylvania as well as participates in curriculum development. In addition, she provides consulting and training services to local agencies. Sarah received her master’s degree from University of Maryland in 1994 and currently holds her Social Work License in PA.
