About This Course
“CBT for Kids!” is designed to help build on providers’ foundational Cognitive Behavioral Therapy knowledge in order to grow their skills of utilizing CBT when working with children. Join Dr. Sara Rothschild from the Penn Collaborative in this workshop to learn fun, creative, and engaging ways to introduce and practice CBT skills with youth
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the value and efficacy of utilizing CBT with Kids
- Teach and practice CBT skills in session with children/adolescent clients
- Practice making CBT fun, engaging, and exciting for a youth population
Intended Audience:
Mental Health/Behavioral Health providers with a basic knowledge of CBT

Completion Requirements:
Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.

BHTEN is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
As an IACET Accredited Provider, BHTEN offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard. BHTEN is authorized by IACET to offer CEUs for this program.

PsyD
Sara Rothschild, PsyD is a licensed psychologist and instructor at the Penn Collaborative for CBT and Implementation Science. Dr. Rothschild completed her undergraduate training at New York University before earning her doctoral degree from Yeshiva University in 2018. While at Yeshiva she gained experience across New York City working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma across a multitude of settings. After completing her APA internship at Northwell Health, Dr. Rothschild moved back to her hometown of Philadelphia where she completed her Postdoctoral training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the CARES Institute. Dr. Rothschild is passionate about training others in and providing CBT to children, adolescents, and families in need.
