About This Course

All trainings meet requirements listed on the DDAP TMS.

This is a basic course on the theory of addiction, the effects of drugs and alcohol on the brain, basic pharmacology, principles of recovery, common treatment approaches, and what treatment is in Pennsylvania.

Learning Objectives: 

All courses follow their respective curricula, delivered by DDAP-approved trainers.

ATOD Staff

Completion Requirements: 

All participants must attend the entire training and complete an evaluation on the DDAP TMS before they can print their certificate.

Look for the “New Users? Click Here to Register” link on the homepage. You only need to set up your profile once on the BTMS system. If your profile information changes (e.g. Name, email address, agency, phone number, business address, etc.) you will be able to modify your profile as needed.
