About This Course
This training covers key issues related to dying, death, and grieving, including ethical concerns in end-of-life care and strategies for communicating difficult news. It emphasizes community building around dying individuals and relationship-centered care. Participants will also explore capacity building, resilience training, and approaches to psychological and spiritual care for the dying. The training will address the relationship between pain and suffering, peri-death phenomena, and the care of caregivers.

- Identify and address common fears related to the loss of others and dying.

Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.
