About This Course
Psychoeducational interventions for people who have experienced trauma, complex trauma, vicarious traumatization and/or traumatic loss are increasingly used to promote resilience, recovery and post-traumatic growth. This webinar will help participants learn content and methods for enhancing psychoeducation and family education interventions, as well as what to avoid, based on available research.
Learning Objectives:
- Define psychoeducation, family psychoeducation and family education
- List at least 3 recommended content areas for psychoeducation about trauma
- List at least 3 trauma-informed teaching skills for helping adults heal from trauma
- Begin to develop a psychoeducational intervention for adults and/or families on trauma-related issue(s)

Completion Requirements:
Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.
