About This Course
This 3 hour skills-based course is designed to enhance practitioners’ skills in Supervision of Psychiatric Rehabilitation services staff. Developed in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), the course offers those in the Behavioral Health field currently providing supervision for psychiatric rehabilitation staff advanced tools in BH Supervision. Utilizing an approach to inspire, teach, challenge and evaluate Supervisory style and collaboration with staff goals/objectives. Join us to develop a collaborative, strength-based approach for supervision in psychiatric rehabilitation programs.

- Discuss and model core principles of PR in supervision
- Compare and contrast supervision and leadership

Completion Requirements:
Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.
Credit Statements:
Behavioral Health Training and Education Network BHTEN, #1779, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards have the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 9/22/22-9/22/25. Social workers completing this course receive 3.0 General continuing education credits.

Rochelle Reimert is a graduate of Walden University with a master’s degree in Human Services. She has over 25 years of experience in community behavioral health and drug and alcohol services. Rochelle is a skilled trainer and has been a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner since 2007. She is currently an assistant operations director with Salisbury Behavioral Health and is responsible for the oversight of their psychiatric rehabilitation services. Through her work she can promote recovery-oriented principles and practices supporting individuals to be independent in the environments of their choice while gaining stability in their addiction. Rochelle is a strong advocate for mental health and promoter of recovery for all. She is a current member of the board of directors, board secretary, co-chair of the education committee and facilitates several of the course offerings offered by the chapter.
