Akeesha M. Washington, LPC, NCC, CAADC is a licensed professional counselor and certified PA K-12 school counselor. She currently works as a school-based consultant supporting mental health clinicians with implementing BRIDGE in schools. Akeesha obtained masters’ degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education in Education Entrepreneurship and School and Mental Health Counseling and her bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University. She is currently pursuing her Executive MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Akeesha’s experience focuses on program development and service delivery to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities incorporating interventions of racial trauma, stress, and transgenerational trauma to support healthy mental health.
