Christy Giallella

Clinical Forensic Manager

Christy Giallella, PhD, is the Clinical Forensic Manager with Behavioral Health and Justice Division (BHJD) of the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS).  Dr. Giallella manages programs that support justice-involved individuals with behavioral health challenges, including initiatives with the jail, the state hospital, state prisons, and adult probation and parole.  She also directs clinical program development with the forensic population and provides clinical oversight to BHJD.  Her work seeks to improve policies and programs for justice-involved individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.
