Maggie Szeder
Manager of Prevention, Education and Outreach
Maggie Szeder, M.A., is WIT’s Manager of Prevention, Education and Outreach. Ms. Szeder has taught this specific training program with BHTEN in the last fiscal year. She has been providing workshops and trainings at WIT since 2017, and previously worked as an Educator at The Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County. She has a Master’s degree in clinical Psychology from West Chester University. In her current role, she is responsible for developing training curricula and facilitating trainings on topics related to domestic violence and substance abuse including: DV Basics for Professionals, DV & Health Care and DV and HIV/AIDs. She also developed and implemented a Self-Defense Healing group, in partnership with WOAR; co-facilitating a 10-session counseling support group for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. This group ran four times prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
