Leah has worked with youth and families in clinical and social work settings for over 10 years. She has provided crisis intervention, victim support services, and individual and group therapy to children and adolescents in outpatient settings. She is experienced with collaboration across child-serving systems, including behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, and law enforcement. Leah is well-versed in Philadelphia’s behavioral health system’s structure and services. She has provided group training for child welfare professionals to support appropriate connections to treatment. Her work has consistently highlighted the value of evidence-based trauma-informed care for vulnerable youth in all settings, from the classroom to the therapy office. She has received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention. Leah is a licensed Social Worker and earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
