Won-Fong Lau, Ph.D., N.C.S.P., is a clinical psychologist with UW Psychiatry Public Behavioral Health and Justice Policy and a nationally certified school psychologist with the UW College of Education. Dr. Lau is deeply passionate about equal access to quality mental health care. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families in both therapy and testing. Her approach centers on the use of evidence-based treatments.
Dr. Lau earned her Ph.D. from UC Santa Barbara. She is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and is a Trainer in Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools. During her internship at the Franciscan Hospital for Children, she was awarded as a Fellow in the American Psychological Association Minority Fellowship Program. Her clinical interests focuses on appropriately applying evidence-based treatments with culturally diverse populations.
