About This Course
Through discussions of the statistical evidence, current legislature and overall mental health of Transgender and nonbinary/gender nonconforming community members, this training will challenge participants to think further outside of the box to create ways to continue to be allies and supporters of these marginalized communities. This will include dispelling harmful myths and current propaganda against these populations.

- Learning how to create safe, brave spaces for marginalized communities
- Updated on current legislature affecting these populations
Intended Audience:
All behavioral health providers, especially those working with youth and adolescents.

Completion Requirements:
Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive a certificate. All certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.
